The third and final event in the series will feature Austin Young.

The American artist, photographer, and filmmaker, in his talk Concrete and New Baroque: Austin Young in the Church of Sant’Aniello in Cosenza, will discuss the experience of a site-specific project in which international contemporary art enters into dialogue with sacred architecture, transforming it through images and color into a visual space rich with symbols and new possibilities for beauty.

An annual series of meetings dedicated to the relationship between contemporary art and architecture and the sphere of spirituality, thanks to the contributions of authoritative voices from artists, architects, art historians, philosophers, and theologians who have devoted significant study to this theme.

La terza ed ultima tappa del ciclo vedrà protagonista Austin Young.

L’artista, fotografo e regista statunitense, nel suo intervento Cemento e nuovo barocco. Austin Young nella chiesa di Sant’Aniello a Cosenza racconterà l’esperienza di un progetto site-specific in cui l’arte contemporanea internazionale dialoga con un’architettura sacra, trasformandola attraverso immagini e colore in uno spazio visivo carico di simboli e nuove possibilità di bellezza.

L’iniziativa è accreditata al rilascio di n. 2 cfp ad incontro per gli Architetti P.P.C.
