A Serigraph in Venice: Collaborating with Fallani Venezia

I'm creating a six-color serigraph in collaboration with Fallani Venezia — an artisan screen printing studio that has been operating in Venice since 1968.

The Studio prints on commission and offers workshops and residencies that invite artists to learn and experiment with screen printing in the heart of Venice. The studio is currently run by Gianpaolo Fallani with the aim to preserve the archive of works made by Fiorenzo, Gianpaolo’s father, who has collaborated with more than 200 artists from all over the world and realised more than 1,000 editions.
With Fallani Venezia Gianpaolo aims to create a space that preserves heritage and provides provisions for exhibitions and a creative hub for artists, printmakers, printing enthusiasts and the curious. He concludes;

The printing studio has always been a reference point for artists passing through Venice.”
